In this procedure, an impression of your teeth is taken and is sent to the laboratory, in order for customised braces to be made. These brackets are then fitted to your teeth. The wires will be tightened every four weeks, in your check-up appointments. A report of your progress will be completed to monitor your treatment course. The procedure ends with the placement of a retainer to keep the teeth in position. Both removable and fixed wire retainers are available, for patient preference.
